Euro-Fuchsia is an association of European fuchsia societies and institutes

It was founded in 1982 by a Dutch initiative. Started as a Western European association it grew up to currently 14 members (13 societies from Northern, Western and Central Europe plus Fuchsia Research International).

The purpose of Euro-Fuchsia is for closer co-operation between the European fuchsia societies and the promotion of fuchsia cultivation and education. It is the platform of information exchange between the European fuchsia community and research institutes dealing with all questions about and around the genus fuchsia. In this way Euro-Fuchsia today is serving nearly 14.000 fuchsia friends and lovers in Europe with a permanent flow of information.

Fuchsia societies especially from Eastern and Southern Europe, but also from the other parts of Europe are invited to participate in the great European fuchsia family - as a guest or a member.
